Staff at the pavilion will be keeping thing moving throughout the day by playing everything from rock to Hip Hop to Motown to Metal. Request will be accepted but not necessarily honored.

Starting at 6:00 p.m. Saturday night this band will take the stage and play music that is sure to be a crowd pleaser!

Just the facts:
When: 12:00 noon, Saturday June 7th until 12:00 noon Sunday, June 8th.
Who: Any one that enjoys music, camping, and fun. A connection to biking will help, but is not mandatory.
Where: Hess Field Complex

Adults $20.00 ea.
Children $10.00 ea.
Family of 4 or more $50.00
Day of event registration-add $5.00 to each

HessFest - features and proximity's
- Music: recorded and live - day and night.
- Facilities: New bathroom w/ shower and hot water.
- Town: Danville within walking distance
- Camping Clear open level field or wooded sites.
- Water/swimming: Mahoning Creek within feet, Susquehanna river within 1/2 mile
- Tour de Tykes race Within 1/2 mile by roads, but you can also take the trail route.

The Hess park Site
Hess Field and the Robbins trail park is located in Danville, PA not far off of Route 80 on Route 54. The park is perfect for a Mountain bike festival because it is not only beautiful, but
close to water for swimming
and surrounded by the FIRST
RAIL TO TRAIL in the USA!

Friday - Come early if you like and get set-up. No extra charge. Be there for the start of things Saturday morning.
Saturday - Full day of racing, plus...
12:00 NOON - Is the official start time of the HessFest! Get your tent set-up and unwind from the big morning of Short track racing. Music will be playing, food available on site. Take a dip in the Mahoning Creek to cool down or investigate the various features of the park. Chill time until around 3:00 p.m.
11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Kids fun ride - FREE!

7:00 p.m - Huffy toss - FREE! What better way to finish a full day of bike related activities than by throwing a Wal-mart quality bike as far as you can for fame and fortune! participants will be separated into age groups and judged for both distance, style and accuracy. Funky attire and creative throwing will definitely be a factors!
6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - LIVE MUSIC!
Blind Chitln Kahunas and Willie Jack and the Northern Lights.
These bands are a good time. Blues, covers and original tunes will keep HessFesters groov’in.
9:30 p.m - Night ride - FREE!
If want to experience the trails you rode during the cross country race in a completely different “light”, then this is for you. Local riders will guide you on an exciting night ride that promises to make memories and probably a few contusions. Ride will last about 1.5 hours.

Food & Drink
Picnic type food, health food and vegetarian food will be available on site. Perkins, BJ ribs, Mulberry’s, pizza and lots of other choices are all within a mile for those that want to go off site to eat and experience some of the local scene.

Schedule of events:
The Tour de Tykes race starts Saturday 10:00 a.m. @ Hess Field Park.
You will receive a wristband when you register for HessFest. This wristband is your ticket to all the events, activities and fun listed on this page*. How much you do is up to you. Do all the different activities, or just kick-back and relax with other campers at beautiful Hess field. Either way, you are in for a good time! .
